I am an experienced film director, who have worked with Film and Television since early 2000s. I have directed fiction and documentaries for cinema and television. My films have been screened on several festivals, such as Karlovy Vary, Berlin, Giffoni. My debut feature, Kid Svensk/That special summer, received the Guldbagge (national award) for best casting, among other awards.

 

My latest major work was a documentary TV-series, Hårt Arbete (Hard Work), on SVT (Swedish Television) 2018-19 (6 x 28 min), about the first generation of Swedish Finns who came to Sweden as labor migrants.

 

I develop several projects, fiction as well as documentary films, in various constellations, such as an horror film and a TV-series about a twisted mayor. I’m interested in what rubs, irritates or has a tragicomic touch that can mirror the contemporary life and society.

 

I can work with most anything, from an idea to a finished film, television program, commercials etc. I’m good at project management, I affirm and embrace ideas and enjoy challenges, and I would really like to take steps into the unknown.
